There are many ways you can help grow hope in our community. Volunteering, Donating Funds, Donating Food, Clothing and Household items are all ways to make a difference to those in need in our community.

There are many ways you can help grow hope in our community. Volunteering, Food Donations, Financial Donations, In-Kind Donations, that are then available to those in need in our community. Check the information below to find out how you can help.
Are you a student? A retired senior? Feel the need for greater fulfillment in life? Are you someone who can make a bit of time in your schedule to make a difference? Then we need you! We are always in need of assistance in many roles. Stocking shelves in the pantry, sorting through donated clothing and household items, assisting clients at events, providing a service for seniors…the list goes on. Please contact the office at 905-527-8605. There is just so much to do we would love to have you join us!
Many individuals and families in our community depend on the food they find on our shelves in The Blue Door Pantry. Donations of food and personal hygiene products are always needed. If you are able to add one or two of these to your shopping list and donate it to the Hamilton Dream Center, our clients are always deeply appreciative.
Staples such as grains, dry pasta, fruits & vegetables, proteins, Care items, diapers, baby wipes, baby food, personal care items.

There are a number of streams of funds needed in order to keep our doors open. Our building itself must also be safe and able to function and so, there are also funds needed for the maintenance and upkeep of our space. Donate directly to each program and service.
Donations in kind, such as paint for the outside or inside of the building, Flooring, Donations toward a new HVAC system, The Parking Lot repair. All are important and some are URGENTLY NEEDED needed for us to keep our doors open. By donating finances and becoming a donor you help us keep our doors open.

Clothing & Small Household Items
Adult clothing, children’s clothing, coats, shoes, all manner of small household items, gently used bedding.
The Vintage Blueberry accepts gently used brand name clothing, purses, shoes and jewelery.
Dreaming of Christmas Food Hamper items and Toy Shop.
Band Aid Depot
Gently used medical devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, commodes, crutches, cane and bathroom transfer chairs are accepted.
