Christmas 2010
I can't believe it's here again!!! Christmas is just around the corner! We are pledging to help WORKING POOR families this year. Working Poor simply means families who are working but still remain below the poverty line because of short hours or low pay. Currently there isn't much or any help for people in this situation. We want to reach out to those who work so hard to provide for their families but need a little help. We will be providing Full Turkey Dinner with all the fixin's! Milk, butter and FRESH Produce!!

We also have invited the moms and dads to come to our "Dreaming of Christmas Toy Store" and shop for their own kids! Although no money will change hands it will offer a similar experience to shopping in a department store, getting to browse tons of toys while sipping hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music and choosing something you know your child will love. Then we custom gift wrap it for them while they wait! This means that the toys they bring home from the Dream Center are from them! They can put them under the tree just as you or I would. What a great feeling! So far the feed back has been incredible!
We do have needs for this program to reach the projected 80 families. We need sponsors. $200 will help to cover the cost of providing amazing memories for these children and their families.
